PANSS, SANS, exBPRSvs4, CGI, CDSS, YMRS, and GAF
Results
Randomized 86 patients with first-episode psychosis to taurine 4 gms or placebo for 12 weeks. The taurine had no effect on cognitive function but did produce significant improvement in BRPS total, CDSS total, GAF, and PANSS general scores. The effect on psychopathology was small to moderate.
