Results

WSKY is a mixture of thirteen traditional Chinese herbs. Patients randomized to receive WSKY showed a significant improvement in quality of life as measured with the WHOQOL. Patients who had a greater than 20% improvement on the WHOQOL were considered to be responders (46.0%), which was higher than the response rate with placebo (31.0%). A significant improvement in quality of life was seen with the SDSS scale. There were no significant differences between WSKY and placebo for the PANSS scale or the WCST.
