Results

Fifty eight patients with schizophrenia and residual psychosis despite treatment with 3 neuroleptics were randomized. Thirty three patients completed the study. Clotiapine was superior to chlorpromazine on PANSS ratings (16% vs -1.6% change from baseline), CGI ratings (16.9% vs. 0%) and NOSIE ratings (10% vs. -3%).
